Today is the Day of LOVE!
Valentine’s Day is celebrated to express love and affection, not just between romantic partners, but also among friends and family. Its meaning can be whatever echoes with you—it can be self-love, appreciation for friends or just showing kindness to others. What makes Valentine’s Day beautiful is that it reflects how you feel.
This year us tabbies (Me, Marvelous and Jo Jo) "painted Valentines for our furrends.

Groundhog Day is celebrated annually across North America in which ‘prognosticating’ animals predict the onset of spring.
On this day various groundhogs across North America are consulted by local public figures (often a mayor) for an annual weather prediction:
If the groundhog ‘sees its shadow’, it means 6 more weeks of winter
If the groundhog doesn’t see its shadow, spring will come early
Since groundhogs can’t speak English, they communicate their ‘prognostication’ in ‘Groundhogese’ — a language known only to specially-ordained groundhogs and the presiding officiant.
Here in Midway we don't have Ground Hogs, we have gophers and Marmots AND Midway Mike!

Sigh! Mom is STILL using the walker! Things are NOT moving as fast as any of us would like, but she is not whining as much and she gets around the house pretty fast! Alex is away for work and although it is cold, Mom has been out on the back deck throwing balls and sticks for the Nutcase!

All cats deserve loving caregivers, clean water and food, daily exercise, a safe place to sleep, and entertainment to keep them happy. Celebrating and participating in National Cat Health Month can encourage other cat parents to focus more on their pets’ emotional and physical health.
Our personal problem is our outside furrend . He needs to get neutered (sigh! Yes Mom and Mary are still trying to get him to the clinic, he is one wily cat!).
There are not a lot of female cats who are NOT spayed around, so we will not be worried about a pletora of kittens (until the city people start dumping their extra cats in the spring-that is whole other issue). Our biggest problem is his spraying his territory! He really makes me, Marvelous, angry when he sprays our back deck cat tree. And this has led to some confrontations! That makes Mom mad too!

Furrst we have a wish for all of our Furrends
IF you have been to 15 and Meowing you already know that I asked Penny to be my Valentine. I have admired her since I first came from Iran. She is a most gorgeous and intelligent Tortie. When I discovered that she had no Valentine I felt blessed that I could ask her if she would be my Valentine!
We are not dating though. Her Dad says she is not allowed to date. It is so nice to have online cat furrends and I, Marvelous am so glad to be furrends with Penny. And Penny, I LOVE the Red dress!
I am so very happy!
Kozmo also has a Valentine to deliver today to his special Lady Cat, Katie Isabella!
I do believe he is heading through the tunnel to deliver some treats to Katie!
It is Happy Tuesday as well as Valentines Day and I asked Jo Jo what makes her HAPPY and she said she wants to see a Joke!
Who else should we send a Valentine too? Cinnamon said "Sandee"!!!

After Mom washed the floors and vacuumed our play rug, she popped open our red cube. We have not had it to play with for a while and Furrst in was me Marv, and when I was done, it was Jo Jo! Mom took some photos and I thought I could create some cool art.

This week Marie and Athena are also talking about the rescue operations
going on in Turkey and Syria and the poor pets that have been affected
by the devastation. As I, Marvelous was originally a street cat who came
from Iran, I purrticularly feel for these poor animals. Athena and Marie also made a most gorgeous Valentine! Wowzers!

Hi Guys! We have missed you!
Mom has been furry busy and we have not had a chance to post. (We have not been commenting either). We are not too sure when things will be back to normal, but know that we will as soon as possible!
