It has been a tough time with our loss of Cinnamon. August was a furry busy month and September has been busier! Mom is frazzled. We were hoping for a reprieve, and that things would get back to normal, but that will not happen for a while yet.
For your enjoyment, and because it is Selfie Suday at here are some shots of Cinnamon from Angel Nellie Bellie's Blog - she was still pretty young and lively!

Does this graphic resemble a certain Tuxedo cat that you all are familiar with? Like our resident Black (and White) Cat? Well, you would be right! Mom DID use him as the Model!
Kozmo thought we would show you some flashback photos that are Kozmo's purrsonal favorites.
As some of you know, Kozmo and Cinnamon were pair bonded. In this photo, Kozmo is about 8 months old and Cinnamon is 2 months old. They wrestled, they played and they slept together. As they got older they did not wrestle (often) but they still slept together often and Kozmo loved to go on Cinnamon's walks.
He did not like it when Mom and Nellie were living in Vancouver, but he (and Cinnamon and Jo Jo) did come for a few visits at Queen Nellie's request. Especially when she she was getting older. She loved Kozmo and he her.
Kozmo has a girlfriend in the blogosphere that he has loved forever! The beautiful Katie Isabella! We are so glad that they have figured out why Katie has been feeling poorly and you KNOW that not only is Kozmo sending Love and purrs, me, Marv and Jo Jo and our new hairy slobbery sister Nutmeg send healing purrayers too!
Kozmo also has some pretty terrific dance moves. Here he is on a date with Katie Isabella!
Besides getting out and about and partying, Kozmo loves the quiet out here in our yard in the middle of nowhere. He like to spend a lot of time on the back deck watching the river go by (he says he is meditating but I did not cats snored when they meditate...)
Austin (on the left of Katie Isabella) and Kozmo are brothers by another mother. Austin and Kozmo used to LOVE to get together and often Kozmo would bring Katie when they were going out for Fish at the Bulkeley Arms in Austin's home town in Wales.

She sure loves our sister Jo Jo too!
Right now Cinnamon is not feeling well (she needs some purrayers please). In May of 2022 she had surgery and a 3.5 pound tumor was taken off her side. It had grown really fast and the vet asked Mom to bring Cinnamon in if any new ones appeared. Last September another tumor was taken off her leg and vet sent it out for biopsy, the results were not good. Cinnamon has grade 3 mast cell tumors and that removing them would/could cause more and that has happened. Since the extreme heat this summer, she has not been her normal bouncy self. Nutmeg coming to live with us had made Cinnamon much happier and she has been frolicking, but the extreme heat has worn her down. Right now we are just keeping her comfortable but she has not been eating much and sleeps most of the time laying in front of the air conditioner.
Today we are spoiling them both! They will get they favorite! (Ice cream with Cheese flavored Friskie Cat Treats)!
I am so furry lucky to have such wonderful woofies in my life!

YES! Ms Ann and June are having Friends as a special event for the month of August and loads of the CB blogging pets will be appearing on June's Blog! Cinnamon and Nutmeg are appearing today!

Regular vaccinations are crucial to us pet’s annual care as illnesses can spread very easily. By immunizing your cat or dog, you can give them the best opportunity to live a safe, healthy life.
August is called the "Dog Days of Summer" - The term “Dog Days” traditionally refers to a period of particularly hot and humid weather occurring during the summer months of July and August in the Northern Hemisphere. This period of hot weather coincides with the rising of Sirius, the Dog Star. Sirius is part of the constellation Canis Majoris—the “Greater Dog”. So we celebrate it with National Dog Month!
And besides celebrating OUR Dogs, Cinnamon and Nutmeg, Today, August 1 is DOGust! The universal birthday for shelter dogs!
Taking a selfie predates social media, smartphones, and the word itself (which is now in the Oxford Dictionary), the popularity of taking these self-portraits keeps increasing. AND taking them gets easier all the time. I have to admit that Selfie Sunday at the Cat On My Head has been around a long time so we have had a whole bunch of practice! Just look at the one Cinnamon and me took at Lake Louise! Mom took a picture of us while we were taking it so we thought it was PURRFECT for the Selfie Day Badge!

If the sun is shining, she will have at least a half hour sun bath when the sun is at its highest! And if she can, she will make a flower crown! Usually Cinnamon is the one who wears it.
And she makes rock mandalas in the garden
Starting from when Nellie Bellie was still writing Mom painted some rocks with mandalas for furrends. And she thinks she will do more this year (if she has time, a new young dog means that 2 dogs get walked separately so Mom does not get all tangled up, Dolly is still learning how to walk on a leash properly). If she does, I will take some selfies with them!
