Meow! (or Bark) Like a Pirate Day!

 

  

We have so much fun being Pirates, Kozmo and I thought we would repeat some of our ARRR-Some Jokes!

We have mentioned that our furrend Lucifer was left behind to fend for himself when his owner moved. Mom and her furrend Mary have been trying for 2 months to trap him so he can be neutered. We hope that he will then become a gentleman (like Merel and Lindy our neighbourhood cats) who Mom and Mary caught a couple of years ago. Lucifer will come back and live with Merel and Lindy where it is nice and warm and the Racoons can't eat his food before he gets a chance to eat it (Mom has been feeding him outside where he used to live, he is super skittish and won't let anyone near him.) It is starting to get cold at night.

We are so Thankful we have a PAWSOME home to live in and that we are part of the Cat Blogosphere!

Thanks for all your birthday wishes yesterday! Wowwzers! I can't believe all the love I got!
AND I even gotted 2 cards! The most gorgeous CK wants to go to Hawaii with me!

And the Weim Twins by other mothers sent me the coolest picture of them!

Thankful for Olivia and Family and Peep!

 We are thankful for our furrends who stop by our blog. We get visitors from all over and we try to go and visit all of them. We are thankful for their adventures, stories and posts. Some make us laugh, some make us think and some are sad. ALL are interesting and we are thankful that we have furrends all around the world. 

Do you guys know Nelson, Bailie, Madison and Olivia (and their Cat Bro Bert) at My GBGV Life? 

They have so many cool adventures, do so many cool things and they compete in Tracking, Barn Hunting, K9 Nose and Scent Work (among other things). This means they travel and they have been to lots of different states.  Their Peep has some terrific posts about keeping dogs happy and healthy and these guys COOK! (Cinnamon loves their Yummy No Bake Valentine Love Bites that they posted 3 weeks ago). They always have the best photos (and I love their props) Their walks are always epic and Gosh Darn it...they are beautiful dogs.

This week, Olivia posted Olivia's Road to Her Elite Championship Title. She said, "I earned my Elite Champion Title in NACSW Nose Work in Wilson, NC. Mom realized I am extremely talented in nose work when I earned my NW3 Titles. Our instructor told us to make sure we enjoyed Elite because it would pass by fast, so we formulated a plan that only we knew about…just in case it didn’t work out. As you know we have traveled our behinds off, and after ten months with twelve Elite trials, I earned my ELT-CH!"

We are over the moon happy for Olivia and her Peep and her furblings! THANK YOU for sharing your journey with us. We have enjoyed seeing the places you have visited, your trials as you pawticipated in the events, the ribbons you and your siblings have won and reading about all the fun things you and your family do! We are so thankful that we can share your happiness! Olivia, you look so cool with your ribbon, I just had to make a watercolour of you!

My Valentine Thankful Thursday

I am so thankful that I have a most beautiful lady cat for my Valentine this week. 

 Penny from 15 and Meowing! 

Penny is a most beautiful Tortie lady cat and I have admired her from afar for a long time. Last week, I read that she did NOT have a Valentine. I sent her an email asking if she would be mine. She said YES! And I sent her a special card. 

She wore the most beautiful red dress!

MM&M & Thankful Thursday

 Midway Mike & Marv

When we woke up on Wednesday it was COLD and we had 4" of new snow. When we were talking to Midway Mike he was a little miffed. Kozmo and Me had woken him up from his winter sleep and he was COLD! Kozmo and I snuck him into the house and he was doing a good job of hiding until he got hungry. 

I was sneaking him to Cinnamon's crunchy dish and Mom spotted him! We asked and she said we could have a sleep over, but tomorrow night he had to go back to his own den.  

Midway Mike snores...it is going to be a long night!

 

Thankful Thursday

We are thankful that we have a nice warm house and Peeps who buy us the foodables that we like. We are thankful that they empty our litter boxes and give us treats. We are thankful for all of our furrends online, that we can pawticipate in so many fun things and we are thankful for the Peeps who keep the blogosphere running, some of these are Brian's Dad Terry, June's Ann, The Peeps at The Cat on My Head (Selfie Sunday) Messy Mimi (Feline Friday), Ms Ellen (Friendly Fill-ins), Athena and Marie (Artsy Caturday), Awww Monday and Wordless Wednesday (Sandee at Comedy Plus). If I missed anybody, I apologize. We are also thankful for all of our furrends who come to visit us! I consider myself lucky to have friends who are so beautiful and kind. Your hearts are made of gold, and I love that about you. Keep being AWESOME!

Singing the songs of our people any time we want.
Fresh litter (to play in and make a mess!).
Naps.
A new can of cat food with warm water.
A nice back scratch.
Our favorite sleep spots in the window, the bedrooms and the man cave.
The views out the window where we can watch the neighborhood.
Sunlight that streams in through the window each afternoon and makes a nice warm spot on the cat tree.

 

Cinnamon's Thankfuls for 2022 are:

Any attention. At any time.
Walks, in the morning, at noon and in the afternoon.
Balls, and having someone throw them a million times a day!
Treats, and "pre-rinsing" the supper dishes.
