This is where I have been hiding since a new D O G moved into our house. The shed in the back yard behind the garden. Yep. I have hardly been coming in (well, a little more over the last 2 days). Last week a new puppy dog moved in with us and I, Marvelous, have been totally disgruntled. She is LOUD, She is BOISTEROUS, She smells funny! I have hardly come in, If I see her, my tail gets puffy and I hiss, grumble and run and hide. But she has developed some manners, she even sits in her hut in the living room when the door is open and she does not chase me. Mom and Alex tell me her name is Nutmeg and not Dolly...which I prefer. Here is picture of our new sister! I call her Nut (or Nutty or NutCase)...

Don't get too excited, we are not blogging full time -- yet -- Mom is procrastinating on doing a load of computer paper work that she should have done a long time ago. She can see a little better and is not as dizzy but she still has trouble with computer work and headaches and then there is the yard work...
Hi Guys! Our human bro was messing around with his phone and his laptop with some pictures of us cats that he had taken using the iPhone Photo Portrait. Apparently he can cut us out and send the cutout image to his MacBook Pro and his iMac Laptop.
We are impressed with his photo! What is purrticularly impressive is that it is seldom to see 2 of us on the same sofa at the same time! Purrhaps we should try it!

Furrst we have a wish for all of our Furrends
IF you have been to 15 and Meowing you already know that I asked Penny to be my Valentine. I have admired her since I first came from Iran. She is a most gorgeous and intelligent Tortie. When I discovered that she had no Valentine I felt blessed that I could ask her if she would be my Valentine!
We are not dating though. Her Dad says she is not allowed to date. It is so nice to have online cat furrends and I, Marvelous am so glad to be furrends with Penny. And Penny, I LOVE the Red dress!
I am so very happy!
Kozmo also has a Valentine to deliver today to his special Lady Cat, Katie Isabella!
I do believe he is heading through the tunnel to deliver some treats to Katie!
It is Happy Tuesday as well as Valentines Day and I asked Jo Jo what makes her HAPPY and she said she wants to see a Joke!

From the moment her Dad picked her up at the Farm market, Jo Jo was a Daddy's Grrl. She was always beside him, sitting on his lap, she followed him everywhere and she loved him to bits. When he passed, she became a ghost. We hardly saw her, she ignored all of us and when you tried to touch her, she hissed and bit. In the last couple of months she has come out from under the bed, started to play with the others, sits beside me on the sofa, sleeps on the bed and "Gasp" lets me pet her!

We love our buddy Midway Mike. He is actually a Rocky Mountain Marmot, but every February, he takes on Ground Hog duties! If Midway Mike sees his shadow tomorrow, (meaning that if you believe in a groundhog’s ability to predict the weather) we’re in for six more weeks of winter.

We had an AWESOME Chinese supper last night. Mom made us steamed chicken bits with rice and shredded spinach. We wanted it BEFORE they ate, but we had to wait.
Mom and Alex had homemade Pho soup with shredded chicken, rice noodles, peas, and spinach. They had lime wedges, but Mom found this terrific lime infused vinegar and it took the soup to new heights. She also made stir fried chicken breast with asparagus, water chestnuts, onions and peas (Mom could not get pea pods). She made a terrific sauce using gluten free hosin sauce, fish sauce, grated ginger, garlic, and horseradish. Alex said it was super tasty. We thought ours was too and we ate a lot too. Especially Jo Jo. Alex got a terrific shot of Jo Jo sleeping it off on the sofa.
Mom thought she looked like a Putti (those little angels that look like Cupid)...and that she would make a terrific Spark in preparation for Valentines Day!
So our AWESOME this week is also our SPARK!
