Like humans, us pets need to get vaccinated against life-threatening illnesses for an extra layer of protection. Regular vaccinations are crucial to us pet’s annual care as illnesses can spread very easily. By immunizing your cat or dog, you can give them the best opportunity to live a safe, healthy life.
August is called the "Dog Days of Summer" - The term “Dog Days” traditionally refers to a period of particularly hot and humid weather occurring during the summer months of July and August in the Northern Hemisphere. This period of hot weather coincides with the rising of Sirius, the Dog Star. Sirius is part of the constellation Canis Majoris—the “Greater Dog”. So we celebrate it with National Dog Month!
And besides celebrating OUR Dogs, Cinnamon and Nutmeg, Today, August 1 is DOGust! The universal birthday for shelter dogs!
