The weather guesser says it MIGHT get over freezing today...It is cold and we are sick of being stuck inside.

Dearest Marv, how can you have over 100° just 2 months ago and now have a frozen River? As much as I would like to catch a mouse I don't think I want that Frozen one because I wouldn't be able to get my teeth in it. I'd have to have Lynn boil it for me. I just hope Jo Jo didn't break her teeth on that thing. We're going to have some cold weather here Lynn says. It might mean she keeps the windows closed when I want to look out. Precious
It is cold here and will be in the single digits by week's end and we have some snow, just a few inches but we all love it. The cat is not happy, but he is always cranky anyway. We hope it stays cold and more snow comes our way.

Brrr, snow and a frozen river makes me glad we live in a reasonably mild climate. I do wish the daily torrential rain would stop though.....and we are still under drought conditions!!!

Until the last couple of years, winter around here is pretty mild. Usually only a few degrees either side of freezing with maybe a week of COLD Cold weather in January. Most years the river has not frozen. Things are changing.
