Good Morning! It is ice to see you!
Furrst the SPARK!
Jokes that are SNOW funny!
Snow isn’t just beautiful to look at at, did you know that seasonal snow is a vital part of the Earth's eco system? Snow actually helps regulate the temperature of the Earth's surface. AND snow is not white! Snow, like the ice particles it’s made up of, is colourless. It’s actually translucent, which means that light does not pass through it easily.
As you know, we got a lot of snow last week. On Caturday, Mom was part of the Tech Team for a large online conference and our Human brother went next door to help Mr D shovel the snow off of his shop and garage. When they were done, Alex jumped off the roof into the pile of snow they got off the roof.
The snow pile from the roof is on top of the 1 metre/3 feet of snow on the lawn...Alex's feet are not quite on the ground. He got to do some snow swimming to get out!
Alex moved the table that was on our deck so it would not get damaged by the snow that he and Mom shoveled off of our roof. That made the deck the purrfect place to do our Jokes! Mom has not yet shoveled out the cat paths. There is about 2 feet of snow in them and with the warmer temperatures, the snow is getting heavy. Mom says we might not get more than one cat path and we will have to wait for melting...we hope not.
Yes, it is a little warmer and we are no longer in the deep freeze! We were above freezing for a little while today and the sun has shined yesterday and today. It may be cloudy tomorrow and the forecast says more snow next week...we hope NOT!
I love the paintings. Thanks for the laughs.
ReplyDeletehahaha good ones... we are glad to get no snow, it would bring chaos to the land of sunshine drivers ;O)))
ReplyDeleteGreat jokes, boys! That is a lot of snow!!
ReplyDeleteMarv you and Kozmo tell the best snow jokes. Snow joke intended. It sounds like you're in for a terrific warm up, LOL. I do hope you don't get three more feet of snow at one time. I'm glad your human brother managed to get out of that giant snow pile. No snow here for the third weekend in a row it rained. And now it's 12 degrees again. Up and down.
ReplyDeleteWe love that quote as it is so very true. We have -15 F one day and plus 20 F the next. You never know what you might be in for with January.
ReplyDeleteI know our earth needs snow and also needs gallons of rain dumped in a few minutes here. but I prefer days without either. that is one huge pile of snow to jump in. he he he on the don't swow my name.. that is ME

A pretty bit of artwork accompanying your SPARK today and holy moly that's one heckofa lot of snow Alex is in after shoveling off the neighbor's roof! We got a nominal amount of snow - 7 or so inches plus another 3 two days later so it's hard to imagine as much as YOU have. Stay warm and cozy and thanks for the jokes - they warmed us up a lot laughing....tee hee

Snow is most important indeed. It's pretty too and Alex made me laugh by jumping off the roof. If I were young I would have done the same thing.
