Walk Your Dog Day!
We had snow this week!
It was cloudy and Yucky and then the next day it was BEAUTIFUL and then it snowed and was cold and then it was beautiful and then it was cold and the day after that it was COLDER and Snowyer...today it ALMOST warmer and it was sunny!
Nutmeg wore her sweater on her walks. Nutmeg LOVES her sweater! But do you know what she did not like? She had to stay at home with us because there was too much snow for Mom to take her in and out!
It was so cold, and snowy, she did not get to the Centre with Mom when she was doing Tech Support or when she was writing or setting up for Crafts on Thursday. That meant she did not get to visit with all her people furrends and she did not get extra walks!
AND it was too cold to walk!
So you get to see pictures of Nutmeg NOT walking on Walk Your Dog Day!
BUT I am sure you will before the end of next week! It is going to get above Freezing EVERYDAY starting tomorrow!
SO, I will post some Photos of Nutmeg walking later in the week!
Here's Me, I wish it was as warm out side as it is here in the sun Puddle!
I can't wait for tomorrow, I'd like to go for a walk!

You look great in your sweater, Nutmeg, and walkies are fun, Marv! The snow makes it an issue for us walking along the road and we were finally back to it and today and tomorrow, we're going to get more snow so back to no walkies. I hope to be having fun in my yard if the snow isn't over my head!
ReplyDeleteMarv, I'm trying to picture you taking Nutmeg for a walk while holding on to her leash. That way both of you could get outside for a while and Mom could take a break.

ReplyDeleteI'll never understand why they pick February for Walk Your Dog Day since the weather is rarely good for walking around here this time of year. Instead, I'll just wander around my backyard.
ReplyDeleteOh My Marv, you have on your Florida Sunglasses and no need for a Sweater here for Nutmeg, and every day is dog walking day, so find a transporter and come on down.... Walter, maybe the person that picks the days chose it because they live in Florida OR Austrailia

ReplyDeleteWow, that is a lot of snow and cold, Marv. Sorry Nutmeg did not get to go for a walk today. She sure does look cute in her sweater, though. We hope you both get to go outside real soon.
ReplyDeleteWe understand about the snow and ice. We jus started seeing patches of the ground this weekend, but we are now in the middle of a blizzard, and are suposed to get up to 2 feet of snow tonight and tomorrow.
Some winters are just like this. It’s okay, walks will come.
