Mom, Did you know today is International Hug Your Cat Day? Today (which is observed on May 30) is an opportunity to lavish your cats with hugs and pamper them, as they deserve.
Of course, you should already be doing this, (every day) but International Hug Your Cat Day is the ONE day dedicated specifically to doing this. I Marvelous have a list...WAIT...You WANT ME TO DO SOMETHING?!?!?

UNFORTUNATELY: on the day that I even tried to HUG JUNE would be the day I would end up in the nearest emergency room! Sadly, my little "junebug" is not a lap cat, not a cuddler, not even a "sit by me" kitty ... there
ReplyDeleteis some occasional touching as she passes by, or a paw at my hand as I open her food can ... and she does sleep at my feet - the key word there is "feet", no closer. Sigh. HUG, never.

ReplyDeleteMarv, Lynn thinks she'll try to hug me later today. She'll just have a quick hug on the way to the scale to make sure my treats are not stickin' to me permanently, mol. Then I will launch offa her and leave my marks on her arms! But I do give her the 3 hours leg time in the eve. I purrsonally think that evens things out. We are glad to see you 3 kitties photoed today! Lynn says she too has heard this morn about 2 of yer provinces under emergency due to out of control fires. It is still wet here and more coming in a few minutes. Wish we could spread it out where it is needed. Precious
ReplyDeleteif I had a cat available, I would surely hug him/her or even them. I do give hugs every day to Beau... Maybe I should go to the county shelter and hug those cats, but is seems I may have heard Cats don't like to be hugged

ReplyDeleteThere is actually more than one hug your cat day, some are or were sponsored at one time, it's hard to keep track of them all.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad all of you got a hug, even and maybe especially Nutmeg, who took so long to land in a family which understands and can take care of her.
Anyway, I'm always late or lost these days with the extra work I'm doing, so I went back and edited my post to include your wonderful badge, and I'm trying to remember them more often without having to be reminded!
