Another name for Siamese cats is Mezzers.
The term is often used by Siamese cat enthusiasts and is derived from the breed’s distinctively vocal nature, which includes a range of meows or “mees” that can be quite expressive. These cats are known to have a very distinctive vocalization, which can be both endearing and, at times, demanding.
Our Peep was once owned by a small meezer (who had the biggest purrsonality) named Queen Nellie! We asked our Peep if she could tell us WHY Mezzers are the way they are and she said there are 6 things Peeps MUST know when they are owned by a Mezzer! She asked Queen Nellie of she would help tell yous all and Nellie Bellie said YES!

4. Your Mezzer MUST give you their "permission" before you pet them. |

5. Everything belongs to the Mezzer! They insist on being pampered! |

6. Mezzers always make sure they are there to help you! |

I make Lynn smile and that's the most impawtant job I have. The rest is just icing on the cake, tuna of course. Tell BFF Jo Jo fur me, that with the flooding rain, I could not spend much time on the catio. And now it is 35 F and dropping so no open door fur me fur the rest of the week. Monday night will be 19. ReplyDeleteCharlee: "Our Dada says that when he was a little kid the people across the street had Siamese cats, and they would sit on the front step talking to everyone in the neighborhood!"

We LOVED Queen Nellie and still have one of her magnets on our fridge! It was lovely seeing her again. Our all-black Benny has some Meezer blood and he goes around the house singing all day!
