International Friendship Day, July 30, 2024
The International Day of Friendship was proclaimed in
2011 by the UN General Assembly with the idea that friendship between
peoples, countries, cultures and individuals can inspire peace efforts
and build bridges between communities.
Us pets have our own international friendships! We have friends around the world and we are so furry happy that we do! It was because of the international connections that I, Marvelous got to come to Canada from Iran and I am now citizen of Canada!

Heck, I gaze upon Canada at least once a week, since it's just across Lake St. Clair and The Detroit River from where we hang out.

We too are grateful for your friendship too and we're blessed to have so many friends throughout the world.
We didn't realize that was today. We don't have any international friends in the furs but our late sisters Katie and Emma did as they came from Germany and England, so they did a lot of international friending in their furs.
It's a joy to have friends everywhere!
