International Friendship Day, July 30, 2024
The International Day of Friendship was proclaimed in
2011 by the UN General Assembly with the idea that friendship between
peoples, countries, cultures and individuals can inspire peace efforts
and build bridges between communities.
Us pets have our own international friendships! We have friends around the world and we are so furry happy that we do! It was because of the international connections that I, Marvelous got to come to Canada from Iran and I am now citizen of Canada!

ReplyDeleteWe didn't realize that was today. We don't have any international friends in the furs but our late sisters Katie and Emma did as they came from Germany and England, so they did a lot of international friending in their furs.
