One Life Lived, many lives touched
We were stunned to hear about Dolly at Brian's Home.
Dolly was an incredible lady cat. Mom loved her expressive green eyes and her fluffy coat. She was not the most boisterous, but she always seemed to be int the middle of all the action. We remember how she wanted to be furrends with Precious and we know the befores (especially Precious) were there to greet her. Your loss was felt by us as well, and we send you and your family our deepest sympathy and love.
Mom and Marv

While we are here, we should let you know that we are all doing well. Mom has been busy. The School District administration wants to close the village's elementary school and Mom has been working on the committee to keep it open. The weather has been cold, we even had more snow (but none since last week) and Mom is not looking forward to the second anniversary of Dad going over the bridge. We hope we can get her back helping us blogging soon! In the meantime, we had Mom take pictures of us so you can see we are all OK!
We are HAPPY that we can see our furrends today, so we are going to pawtucupate in HAPPY TUESDAY at Comedy Plus!
Click her badge so you can go to her blog and share in all the happiness that Sandee brings to all of us!
My heart aches for Dolly's beautiful family. It was all so sudden.
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting and letting us know you are all doing well. Good luck keeping the school open.
our tears are running... sometimes life is so hard.... hugs to all...
ReplyDeleteIt was so sad about Dolly...and there were others as well...what a sad week.
ReplyDeleteIts good to see all of you!
I sure ho0e you'll be able to convince the district to keep your school open. Its such a hardship for both pupils and parents when the bus ride is long, and the school is so far away. A local school means parents can walk with their kids to the building, and maybe even volunteer there as well.
That is a lovely tribute to Dolly. She was a beauty who will be sadly missed.
ReplyDeleteIt is good to see you all and know you are doing well. I hope the school can be kept open.
I was very saddened and shocked to hear about Dolly.

Marv, it's one thing for all of you to be homeschooled by your mom because your furry. But it would be better for you and children to go to a real school. Your mom's a brave woman to work on this project. Trying to fight politics is tough work. Will be glad when we see you all back regular and your mom has good news about the school. We were so sorry to see another kitty is lost to us.

ReplyDeleteMy parents worked hard to save money, to buy a home in a school district that would teach their children well; they made sacrifices for us.
Hope your efforts for your school are victorious!
We are so very sad about Dolly too.....Mom called Dolly's eyes "mesmer-eyes" because they were so incredibly beautiful. She was a sweet girl and such a devastating end to her story.
