Spark and Awwws!

 Furrst the Spark!

McGuffy’s, who was hosting the Sparks, is on hiatus. She says “I truly do believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. There is hope. Together, we can light up the entire world!

Now for the AWWW Some Jokes!

Here are some fun facts about squirrels:

Fact One: There are 280 species of squirrel.

Fact Two: Squirrels front teeth never stop growing. They gnaw on nuts and other things to stop them getting too long.

Fact Three: Squirrels live in every part of the world, apart from Australia and Antarctica.

Fact Four: Baby squirrels are called kits.

Fact Five: Squirrels don’t dig up all of the nuts that they bury, which is why we get new trees growing.

The squirrels around here have been really busy! There is an oak tree just across the street and they have totally de-nuded it of acorns and they have been raiding bird feeders all over town! This week is all about those Yard Rats!

And then Shermon and Kozmo got in the game!

  1. Oh, MY! I almost choked on the snack I was eating...and unbalanced off my chair! Bwaahahahaha!
We have way too many of those rodents, no matter the species:)

And when they carve open a nut...a walnut specifically, they leave it opened on the ground, for some unsuspecting pup or peep to cut their feet on it, OUCH:(

  4. That's a lovely SPARK and it is very true - we make our own balance in our own way. Love the jokes AND that little video is so cute - I wonder if we have any talented dancing squirrels in our backyard?

  7. Marv, I see so many squirrels here, so sorry Shermon, I'd love to catch one or 2 or 3. I love the joke you and Shermon told. That dancing squirrel looks like the one I watch all day long running across my patio. Precious

  8. OMD! This is a post made just for us, all about squirrels! That would be terrible having teeth constantly growing, but I guess squirrels know how to keep them short. Nails are tough enough to keep short! Great jokes too! Have a nutty Monday.

  18. Chester used to be very quick to chase the Evil Squirrel Cartel out of the yard. These days he'll peek out the back door, and if the squirrel leaves, his work is done. I guess that means that at 13 years old, he's retired.

    LOL BOL on the jokes!
