We have had some exciting stuff happening in the river!
In the river bank behind our house is remains of a HUGE pole that used to be part of the pull ferry across the river. This post is over 100 years old. I was throwing some dead plants in the compost and I saw Marv on the post.
With Marv's coloring it was hard to see him. I was wondering why he was there and then I noticed all the fish in the river.
The White Fish have been hanging around waiting for something...(who knows what) before they continue up river to spawn.
We got this terrific shot of Marv. Its the one I used to create the following art.
We are going to pawticipate in Athena and her Mum Marie's Arts Caturday! Please click on her button to be whisked to England where Athena and her Mum live! There you will see Artsy Caturday Central and find all the links to all the other terrific art!
What a cool hangout spot, Marv! How fun to see all those fish.

ReplyDeleteOh yes, Marv, if I had such a place to meditate, I'd be found there too!!! Mum did a great job with your pawtrait yet again. Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
Oh Marv, I'm afraid that you're going to fall in and get wet. Precious and I think that was sneaky of you to hide in plain sight. Fry up a pan of fish and we'll be right up.
ReplyDeleteI love the shots of Marv there at the river and that piece of wood is a piece of local history too. The art is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGracious me, what lovely photos of Marv, and his artiness is stunning! Dad says he's reminded of his big ol' bud Isaac from many many moons ago.
ReplyDeleteMarv you have royal thrones all over the place. What a stunning photo. Me thinks it should be framed.
ReplyDeleteYou blend right into your surroundings
Hugs cecilia

ReplyDeleteA gorgeous view of you, Marv. The artwork by your mom is perfect. Look at those fish....toms of them. Let's hope their spawning will be successfully. We need more fish in BC.
