Caturday Art With Marv - by the River

We have had some exciting stuff happening in the river!

In the river bank behind our house is remains of a HUGE pole that used to be part of the pull ferry across the river. This post is over 100 years old. I was throwing some dead plants in the compost and I saw Marv on the post.

With Marv's coloring it was hard to see him. I was wondering why he was there and then I noticed all the fish in the river.

The White Fish have been hanging around waiting for something...(who knows what) before they continue up river to spawn.

We got this terrific shot of Marv. Its the one I used to create the following art.

  5. Oh Marv, I'm afraid that you're going to fall in and get wet. Precious and I think that was sneaky of you to hide in plain sight. Fry up a pan of fish and we'll be right up.

  7. Gracious me, what lovely photos of Marv, and his artiness is stunning! Dad says he's reminded of his big ol' bud Isaac from many many moons ago.
