Hug Your Hound Day!
At our house, we LOVE dogs! Even the cats have been known to sleep with Nutmeg's predecessors. Nutmeg is still a little too rambunctious for hugging (even with Mom).

Part II - Barks and Bananas
The Whiskered Wraith drifted toward a fog-shrouded island where the trees howled and the sand barked beneath your paws. Marvelous narrowed his eye. “This be the Isle of Bark,” he muttered. “If the map’s true, we’ll find riddles, ruins, and maybe a recruit or two.” Kozmo scoffed. “I do hope they’re civilized. I simply cannot duel with anyone who drools.” Blinky growled low. “I’ve seen this place before. It don’t play fair.”
As they stepped ashore, a blur of black and white darted from the jungle. Nutmeg, the island’s guardian, skidded to a halt and barked, “Answer me riddles three, or be chased into the sea!” Her eyes sparkled with challenge, and her tail wagged with mischief. Marvelous accepted, and with Kozmo’s dramatic flair and distinction and Binky’s demeanour, they cracked each riddle like a crab shell. Nutmeg was impressed—and intrigued by Blinky’s quiet courage.
“I’ll join ye,” she said, “but only because Binky is so smart!” Blinky shrugged, but his ears perked up. Nutmeg trotted beside him, her nose twitching with excitement. Back aboard the Whiskered Wraith, Marvelous grinned. The crew was growing, and the sea was calling.
Somewhere beyond the horizon, the Floating Market of Meowdao awaited—and with it, new allies and ancient dangers.
