March 30, Take a Walk in The Park Day

Our Hairy Slobbery Sister, Nutmeg, is the big "Go For A Walk" animal at our house. I, Marvelous asked her to get a photo of her most FAVORITE walk!

We have not had very much snow this year and Boundary Creek Falls are very much smaller than they usually are.
Nuts LOVES this walk because it goes UP and it goes DOWN and Up and DOWN and when they get from the top of the hill down to the creek (it's quite a hike! she not only gets to have a drink in the creek, but there are plenty of sticks to play fetch with)!
Alas, Mom can't take her on this particular walk anymore-so she gets to go with her ALEX (when he is not travelling for work).

  1. That looks like a lovely place for a walk. Those sort of hikes are in my past too.

  2. That's a serious walk, Nutmeg, and you need to climb too! We'll walk today but not an intense walk like that one!

  4. Marv, we enjoy seeing the picture. And knowing that Nutmeg still gets to go there occasionally with Alex. I bet your mom misses going up there herself. I know I would. Precious says she's not inclined to travel that far for exercise, lol.

  5. What a beautiful place for a walk. Nutmeg is so lucky to have such a fun place for a walk and Alex to take her there.

  6. I would take you anytime you wanted, Nutmeg. What a fun walk. Thank you for sharing this with us Marvelous Marv.

I linked this post to Awww Mondays.

Have a fabulous day and week. Scritches all around, a smooch to Marvelous Marv and a big hug to mom. ♥

  7. Java Bean: "Ayyy, that looks like a fabulous place for a walk, Nutmeg! It reminds me of the nature preserve we go to once in a while! Speaking of which, hey, Mama ... don't you think we're due for a trip to the nature preserve???"

  8. Always up for a walk in the park, especially when the temps go up.

  9. Mom would fall over and have ask Nutmeg to drag her home.

  10. The three of us hounds love our walks. We didn't walk in a park, though, today but we did pass by a park. Walking is a great activity for us and the human.

  14. Whoa, that kind of a hike would have us folks huffing and puffing! What a great walk for Nutmeg, though. Nice that it can happen with Alex.
Our fave walks go along some backroads, but it is all on pavement or sidewalks. Just a bit on the shoulder of the highway at the start and at the finish. Dalton loves it the best! Benji enjoys it too, but he is not nearly as enthusiastc as Dalton. We get to see the creek and some other wetlands...and the wildlife if we are lucky.

  15. That looks like the kind of hike Mummy would enjoy! It looks rather strenuous too Us - though the landscape looks furry purrty!

  16. I would not take this hike because just the photo of Nutmeg on that ledge is hurting my legs, I am afraid of heights and Beau will never walk near one. OF course we don't have any here, so not a problem. ha ha . its a beautiful spot from here....
