July is Lost Pet Prevention Month
National Lost Pet Prevention Month in July is dedicated to educating pet
parents on how to keep their pets safe. It comes at the height of
summer because we're seeing a worldwide trend of missing pets spiking in
these warmer months.

National Pet Hydration Awareness Month
Pet Safe has declared July Pet Hydration Awareness Month. Did you know that us pets are 80% water and you Peeps are only 60%? Us pets need 1 ounce of water per pound of body weight. Most pets don’t get enough water, especially during extreme temperatures.

American Zoo Day!
The day commemorates the opening of the Philadelphia Zoo, the nation’s first, which began welcoming visitors back in 1874. This event set the stage for the evolution of zoos across the country from mere animal collections to centers focused on conservation, education, and recreation.

ReplyDeleteBFF Jo Jo, I luv hummers too! Lynn feeds them at the front door and in the morns I look fur them after my catio time. I do less catio time this year fur some reason. And look at all the badges you 3 kitties and Nutmeg helped Mom make! Without yer influence she would not be so creative I just know. Stay cool and don't any of you git lost even in the neighborhood. Precious
ReplyDeleteWe see so many animals lost on fb and it makes us feel so sad and we hope they got found before the coyotes find them. I love playing ball with my mom too, Nutmeg!
