What began during the hardships of World War I has grown into the longest-running commemorative week in U.S. history. These powerful moments highlight more than a century of humane progress and public awareness.
The American Humane Society is celebrating Be Kind to Animals Week with Seven Days of Kindness! And they have some terrific suggestions of what you can do to celebrate animals!
