Marg! You will be missed! You are forever in our heart!
The Arrival of Marg
If on a recent Sunday afternoon, many of you tilted your heads upward,
thinking you were hearing ever so softly the padding of hundreds of paws,
a few dozen hooves ~ some distant meowing, barking, neighing and
even a couple hee-haws ~ well, you were!
The pandemonium at the Rainbow Bridge that afternoon even had
St. Peter calling for crowd control, and texting St. Francis of Assisi for his
assistance.
The arrival of Marg ~ our very own Marg Elmendorf ~ who had given her
entire life, all her love unconditionally and wholeheartedly to countless
animals was, for all of them waiting there and crowding around heaven's
gates, a day of celebration. This was a day they would welcome their
Marg home.

I loved Marg. I loved all her kitties and Smoke and Joe. May she rest in eternal peace.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and week. Scritches all around, a smooch to Marvelous Marv and a big hug to mom. ♥
Oh no, we all loved Marg so much. The donkeys were so much fun, and the kitties were so dear to her and so well cared for. Two Two was our Mom's favorite, especially when Marg would put her pretty dress on. Heaven has welcomed a beautiful Angel. Soft woos and gentle hugs to her family.

ReplyDeleteI am really sorry to hear this. I used to enjoy her blog until she had to stop.
ReplyDeleteWonderful post, Barb ~ we all had so much fun doing this together, and Marg put her "all" into it! Can't help but think back how our world would have been a better place had we actually put Smoke & Joe in charge all those years ago! Thanks for sharing these truly special memories of Marg and her animals.
ReplyDeletethis is a wonderful post, to a wonderful friend Barb. Will never forget Marg, her love of animals; we shared a fondness for St Francis. Rest well Marg in the company of all who now reside with you in heaven. 💙💚💙💚 laura
