We are sorry we missed Artsy Caturday. The transformer that provides all the electricity to the village BLEW UP on Thursday night at around 10:30 PM! The WONDERFUL electric company guys got a temporary replacement. And we had power back by 1 AM.
The next morning we were told a new replacement for the transformers was going in and we would have no power for 6-10 hours. They shut everything off at 1 PM. It is still winter and though the temperature is around the freezing point, it would cool the house off pretty quickly. Mom closed all the curtains and with the cloud cover it was dark in the house. And by the time the power came back at 5:30 pm, the house had cooled off quite a bit and it was dark outside. Mom was happy that her tablet was fully charged and she sat with us on the sofa with blankets and read her book. She says we were purrfect to keep her warm.
After Mom asked Cinnie and Jo Jo, who were on the sofa with her, if they would like to take an USSIE!
Now, we are pawrticipating in Selfie Sunday over at The Cat On My Head! They have been running Selfie Sunday for a long, long time! We LOVE the Kitties Blue and we can't wait to see them! Click on their button to head to Selfie Central!

ReplyDeleteAw, Cinn and JoJo, you make a fine pairing!!! Happy Sunday. Hugs wags and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
It's too cold in the winter to not have your power. Love the selfies♥
ReplyDeleteMarv, if that thing blew up close to home that would have scared me right under the bed. What a noise. I am so glad you now have electricity and heat. No fun in the winter time to go without either one. And dear princess Jo Jo, you and Cinnamon really help keep your mommy warm and took a terrific picture. You know me I probably wouldn't let anybody lick me. Well, I might let Marv cause he's so handsome. Precious
ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE these photos... sorry about the power, that long even when not freezing would make me crazy because I have things to do but hubby would be wild with no TV for that long. Its scary losing power during freezing weather. glad you could all cuddle,
ReplyDeleteAwww...so very sweet!
