This weekend is Thanksgiving in Canada. Mom says it is because we live in the Great White North and November is winter in most of the country. Mom went to the Farm Market this morning with Cinnamon and on their way home, they saw some wild turkeys!
Cinnamon thought it was pretty dumb of them since everybody was looking for fresh turkey at the Farm Market!
I loved the colours and the atmosphere and I thought it would make a great water colour!
AND
it would make a great Puzzle!
I also thought it would make a great Joke!
Now as we do every Caturday, we are going to pawticipate in the most Lovely and Gorgeous Athena's Blog Hop! Please click her buadge to be magically whisked to her blog where you can see all the other pawticipants and you can see Athena's Mum's gorgeous art of her!
For some reason, I've lost my side bar. I will see if I can get it back later this weekend!

STUNNING! Gobble, gobble ... Happy Thanksgiving to all ... Ann & June
ReplyDeleteMarv are those turkeys going in the oven for Thanksgiving dinner? Hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving and you all get a little extra cheese. Precious and I will be thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteWe are having ham! Maybe tomorrow, but most likely on Monday. Mom says it all "depends" on what happens with the laying of the new flooring. So far we are quite happy hopping from floor mat to floor mat, we do hope Mom gets a new living room rug and brings a cat tree back into the house! When it is all done, we hope you will come and help us "break it in". Purrs Marv
DeleteMarv, I am not eating breakfast at break neck speed this morn. I have a mousie outside on the window sill and I'm intently listening and watching. Lynn says, "See you do not need to eat all your breakfast at 5:15 AM!" Precious
ReplyDeleteMarv, seeing those turkey's and your comment got mom smiling again!! How true! You'd think they would be VERY aware of the possibilities! The watercolor treatment of their photo was wonderful. Mom is a fan of such effects! And that joke! Just what Mom loves!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving, Canada!
ReplyDeleteFunny, the people that I use the term 'turkey' on don't look anything like these birds...hahahaha!

ReplyDeleteThose turkeys are not very bright at all...we saw a huge flock here...but of course they are American, and they forget that petcretary might just want a turkey on Monday the 10th...LOL!

ReplyDeleteThat's such purrty art! But We have to admit, We are rather sorry for the turkeys, so blissfully unaware of the fate that lies in store for them.
