It's chaos around here!
It finally got warm enough (and less buggy) to start painting and getting ready to lay the new flooring. THe first thing to go was Mom's mission control. The computers and monitors are in Alex's bedroom on Mom's old desk and the desk in the living room has gone to the dump.
The walpaper on the wood wall is gone too and Mom has been scrubbing off all the glue (Mom say YUCK! Horrible Job! Among several HBO words).
Us cats (and Cinnamon) are a little purrterbed. Mom has been having difficulties capturing us with her camera. We have been hiding down by the river (it's hot) outside and skulking around inside.

On Marv's Birthday We will post all the pictures of our furrends! We already have received a number of pictures for Marv's Birthday. AND we are going to have a comment-a-thon for Boundary Helping Hands who take in all the strays and ferals in our area. We gave them $60 last year and we would like to beat that this year.

ReplyDeleteKozmo I am just sure that Katie Isabella is looking at your pictures today. She's probably wondering where you've been hiding all this time. But with all this major reconstruction at your house, wow. And I thought painting the kitchen cabinets a year ago was a big job for your mom. Whatever happens don't let your black get painted white.
ReplyDeleteThe kitchen cupboards are still ongoing. She had to stop because of the gnats last fall and we had a zillion of them until a couple of weeks ago and Mom did not want their carcasses in the paint. Alex (the human brother) wants to start on the floor, so they are delayed for the moment.

DeleteGood luck with the chaos, the work will be worth it in the end! The biped has done a lot of her own demolition in the house over the years, but she's not keen to do it anymore. It's hard, back-breaking, HBO word-worthy work!
