  4. We have too much snow here and ice on the way. No way will it be an early spring for us.

  5. Groundhog Day in our expectations is rain, ice, and then 8 in of snow on top of all of that. Groundhog could do to pick a better day to celebrate. How do we go from a lovely Chinese tiger the North American groundhog in one day?

As I learned from you, You Rock!!!
I liked how you explained the details of this day, which has a special number: 2.02.2022!
I love the conclusion 'spring is on the way'
Happy WW and a fine February!

  7. Such an adorable graphic! We have our paws crossed for 6 more weeks of winter because we want more snow to play in.

  8. mr groundhog has no effect on us here in Florida, we are spring or summer, two seasons, the only way to tell the difference is we are cold or HOT. no cold like your cold, cold like Florida cold. for all of you that live where he matters I hope for an early spring not a late.

  9. The Vernal Equinox is March 20th, and it's 6.5 weeks away no matter what!
We are waiting for Snowmaggedon here in Southeast Michigan, and I am hoping that it all melts away much sooner than 6.5 weeks!

  11. We are ready for spring here too. It's cold and I don't care for the cold.

  12. Around here it doesn't matter if Phil sees his shadow or not. There is always plenty of winter left to experience for at least 6 weeks.

  16. The groundhog didn't make up the rules so don't blame him!

  21. We never believe the groundhog. Here in WNY, we've had snow as late as May!

  22. If today is beautiful, winter will come roaring back. If today is nasty, winter is spending itself out now and warm temps will come a bit earlier.

Either way, spring comes at the end of March/early April.

  23. Well, considering we have a snow storm today, there’s no way the groundhog saw his shadow. He probably didn’t even come out of his house. MOL!

  24. Happy Groundhog Day, Marv!

You know, we've been thinking ... someone should just put a beah umbrella over the groundhog's hole. There, instant spring! MOL!

  25. Sadly we are in for more winter weather.....but I'll also say that you can't trust groundhogs - sometimes they tell FIBS!

    Hugs, Teddy

  26. Ya know, Teddy up there above me is right! I think the groundhogs have a racket going. They tell fibs for the highest pay-out!
