Spark
McGuffy’s, who was hosting the Sparks, is on hiatus. She says “I truly do believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. There is hope. Together, we can light up the entire world!” Now for the Sads!
A good blogging furrend went over the bridge this week. Tuna of Moon was one of the Trout Talking Tabbies (I believe he was one of the major creators of the litter box art). We cold not post our condolences for a couple of days as our Mom's eyes were full of tears each time we tried. Tuna's Food Service Girl is sad beyond belief. Click on the painting of St Francis with Cat to go to the Trout Talking Tabbies.
Now In honor of Tuna we are telling Tuna Jokes today!
Now every time we tell a Tuna joke, we will remember our furrned!

we love da bear wisdom... and we will look for honey...and for the bees ;O)
ReplyDeleteThat is good advice from the bear.
ReplyDeleteI am so sad about Tuna. He and Flynn were besties on the blogs sharing visits in the fields, and now are for eternity.
We love the very smart bear's thought...........We are also very very sad about Tuna. When a friend loses a kitty to the Bridge it brings back my Mom's terrible time after Angel Sammy left us. Heartbreak gets "softer" with time but never goes away.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy
That is a very smart bear and we are so sorry to hear about your friend, Tuna. We send lots and lots of hugs to the family♥
ReplyDeleteI do believe the tuna jokes were a good tribute to a much-loved cat. What cat is not missed with a broken heart when they leave us permanently. The bear postcard was extremely heartwarming words to live by.
ReplyDeleteGreat advice from the bear. They are quite smart and sure have napping mastered! We don't know Tuna, but the jokes are good ones.
ReplyDeleteI was so sad when Tuna passed. I sat at the computer with tears falling like rain. As we all of us here do, I know the awfulness of not having that sweet and loving presence in my home and life. It is like a door slamming forever shut.

ReplyDeleteMOL - I'm with the bear... so sorry to hear of the loss of your friend... she will be honoured with your jokes! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches all around, a smooch to Marv and a big hug to mom. ♥
Charlee: "Mmm, I should find a tuna to put in the microwave."
ReplyDeleteChaplin: "If you microwaved an entire fish I'm pretty sure Dada would never forgive you."
Charlee: "Pffft. A few minutes of purring and making muffins in his lap and Dada won't even remember that the kitchen stinks."
Liked the Spark and the tuna jokes, but sad to hear you lost a friend. The St Francis with cat picture is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful work of St. Francis art, purrfect for honoring Tuna. We keep going back to that 'rain on my furs' post and crying our eyes out - it is such a beautiful tribute to Tuna. I love that you did Tuna jokes, what a good idea. Hugs for all mourning sweet Tuna.

ReplyDeleteBears give the best advice
ReplyDeleteWe're sorry to hear about your friend. BOL at your jokes, though.
ReplyDeleteThose were a couple of very funny funnies in honor of you furiend Tuna. We didn't know Tuna but we send soft woos and gentle hugs to his family. It is always hard to lose a beloved pet.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Tuna is well taken care of by St Francis, of that we are certain. I think he might just become St F's right hand helper kitty! But yes it made us sad in our heart too...
ReplyDeleteThose Tuna Jokes had me looking at my cans of tuna on the counter...there was a one-a and a tuna...
Did you see the joke we put at the end off our Sunday selfies post?
Who's the Super-hero Plumber who just fixed your watery issues?
Flush Gordan!!
Tuna half minutes. MOL.
ReplyDeleteWe are so sad about Tuna going to the Bridge, but we know he is in St. Francis' care now, until he is reunited with his family one fine day. XO
