Mom update: Hi Jackie, I am hobbling around with a cane (and crutches when I go outside). I had to take Cinnamon outside for a little while last evening, she is not used to the inactivity, so we had a vigorous game of chase the ball! It felt good to be out in the crisp air. The knee is starting to colour. As is my hip and shoulder from hitting the pavement. I've pulled the muscles on the left side of the knee quite badly and I am trying to be active enough to stop from stiffening up. It is still painful to stand on, and twice the size of the other leg, but I am crossing my fingers short walks will resume (with crutches outside because of the snow and ice) by the end of this week. Thanks for thinking of me! Barb
