Mom is in Vancouver! She packed a bag and left us all at home with Alex. Alex is OK, But he’s NOT the same. Plus he works 2 PM to 10:30 PM so our food schedule is off. Kozmo tried to get him up at 7:30 this morning and neither he or Alex was happy. Shortly after, Jo Jo brought a quail into the house and Alex had to catch it and take it outside. I Marvellous have been a really good boy and Cinnamon...well Cinnamon is distraught that our Mommy is not home.
WHY is our Mommy NOT at home?
Mom's sister, my Aunt has a bone infection. (I did NOT bite my Aunt). As my Uncle is ill, Mom went to Vancouver to help out for a few days and she has promised she will be home by the weekend. In the meantime, here are some shots of our cousin - Jewel, who is keeping our Mom on her toes!

Oh, we wish the best and for healing of both your Auntie and Uncle. Its nice that your Mum can help out, but yes, I know that you do miss her a whole lot, and the routine is all messy for a while. It will get better, when she gets back.

ReplyDeleteWhich do you miss the most Marv, your mom or your timely meals? I'm sure she'll be home as soon as she can and she's being a very good nurse oh, and that's what really counts. And I bet she doesn't bring anybody extra home with her
ReplyDeleteWe never like it when Mom goes away, but sometimes humans have to go places and can't take us furry ones along. Hopefully she will be back soon. In the meantime enjoy sleeping in in the morning and reset your food schedule.

Well, we are glad you told us that the dog is not Cinnamon; we were worried she had a transformation while we were MIA. Jewel is a beauty. We hope your Aunt will be OK, and we are sure Alex will take very good care of you in Mom's absence. All paws crossed for all to be back to normal soon.

ReplyDeleteYour mom is so special. Not many people will help even their relatives like that. TW doesn't even work outside the house and she's up until 2 a.m. I get her up at 5 a.m. for breakfast then she goes back to sleep. Sending your aunt and uncle healing purrz.
