  2. I hope the weather soon cools down for you. We have 14C here at 9am and not expected to go above 20C today.. That is plenty hot enough for me!

  6. Well ... that's how time passes, it's winter, it's summer, until our thread is cut ...

  7. Marv. I have only heard Frosty the Snowman say that " help I'm melting". So I'd say it's pretty darned serious Where You Are. Where's the rest of the family cooling off.

    1. The cats spend most of the day indoors or down by the river behind the house. It is much cooler there and the ground is cool. This photo of Marv was taken last week when it was only 30c (85f) on the cat tree on the covered deck. With this heat we are all spending most of the time between 10 am and 8 pm inside. Today is supposed to be the hottest and will slowly cool down to high 80s by Wednesday next week, according to the weather guessers.

  8. Great-Gramma used to tell how they would sleep beneath "damp bed sheets" at night to keep cool in the summer heat waves in Texas ... long, long ago.
The ice-man brought those big blocks of it for the ice-box (aka, refrigerator) which would melt long before the next delivery ...

  9. Marv, whew! You guys sure won't all be in a pile...you'd melt into a puddle for certain.

  11. Oh my Marv you do look like you are melting. Hope you get some cool air soon. the June photo looks so beautiful but we can't feel the heat that is out there. when we watch a movie and it is freezing and snowing on the movie, and our AC is blowing, I get really cold looking at the movie, but if the AC is not blowing i feel nothing looking at the movie

  12. We can't wait for summer and then we can't wait for summer to end. We all melt here too, but not as cute as Marv.

Have a fabulous day and stay cool. Scritches all around, a smooch to Marv and a hug to mom. ♥

The first image is sooo... refreshing, but it lacks the brilliance of the second. 😊

  21. Can I lick up a puddle of Marv? Oooh, that sounded dirty. MOL! Those snow pics don't help. TW was once out with a friend on a frigid day and they bought ice cream figuring it would lower their body temp closer to the outside temp and make them warmer. It didn't.
