We are having a holiday up here in the Great White North! It is Victoria Day!
Cinnamon took her selfie in her favorite place...the CAR! Cinnamon LOVES to go for car rides!
She was hoping we would take her to one of her favoirte places--Lassie Lake, this weekend. Alex has been remediating the BC Forestry campground up there. A lot of trees came down over the winter. Our neighbor works for Forestry and his job is to take care of the forest up there. Getting rid of the downed trees is important for fire safety and he got Alex to come and help him with the cutting and removing.

Alas, we did not get the truck fixed, we are still waiting for a part, and the road up to the lake is a 4xr4 road, so Cinnamon will have to wait for another weekend to go up to Lassie Lake. But we will have hot dogs and a BBQ and ice cream and we hope that will make up for not getting to go to the lake.
We are pawticipating in The Cat on My Head's Selfie Sunday! Every week we all have a chance to post selfies and visit furrends. We are looking forward to catching up!

They have worked hard clearing the trail. Nearly the end of May and we haven't even got the BBQ out yet, the weather has been so bad. Hopefully it will start to improve from Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteA PURRRFECT Selfie Cinni......and wow I bet that was a lot of work removing/taking down all the mess the trees made around Lassie Lake this past winter. Sure will be nice when you all can visit again!

Happy Victoria Day...though its already the day after...sorry we are so very late! That was a lot of good work done to the trail. And Lassie Lake is beautiful...looks so serene and pristine!
ReplyDeleteWe didn't really celebrate it here that much...even though *she* didn't have to go to her work...but she did spend hours mowing our lawn on a very hot day (86F). So pawppy made a nice chicken dinner...
