We have had a terrific week! We got to visit all kinds of people and pets! Mom was really happy with Kozmo and me being pals! We have been on the bed together more than once, and she happened to have her phone with her when she found us have lunch together!
Later, we all got Freeze Dried Liver treats when Mom tried to get us to pose for Valentines. Mom has set up the old recliner and will see if she can get us to get in it once we are "comfortable". You will see some FAILS over the next few days. We don't POSE. We are pawsitive that we want to be photoshopped! THey look so much better -- I mean look at Cinnie's Valentine from 2 years ago...
and look at Mom's try to get her to sit in the chair!
We are also grateful we have been adopted into a great home! It has been bitterly cold and we have a nice warm house, great food and us cats has indoor bathroom facilities! We have toys to play with and warm beds to sleep in.
Other pets are not so lucky. This week we donated to a newly started shelter in our area. A hoarding situation was brought to the attention of some cat loving ladies in a local town and 15 kittens and 5 cats need to be taken care of until their infections, worms and spay/neuters are all taken care of.
We are Thankful for you, and we are Thankful for those bloggers that sponsor the hops and keep the cat blogosphere going! We are pawticipating in the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop sponsored and run by Brian and his Dad! Click on their button to go to their blog!
We always give thanks for having homes and praying for those who don't.
ReplyDeleteUs pups, too, we are SO glad we don't have to be outside for more than the time needed to 'do business' LOL!
ReplyDeleteFails?? Yep we too have way more of those than 'good ones'!
We're thankful for all who work in rescue, and are glad to be volunteers.
ReplyDeleteYou all would look so good in the chair!
we hear you, we got da same cold temperatures.. if we convert it into canadian temps, it's no t-shirt weather here ;O)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your Valentine fails!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you and Kozmo are becoming good pals and sharing the same space. Cinnie looks cute wearing her heart on her nose!
ReplyDeleteWell how nice you and Koz are being friends and able to be within inches of each other....Mom and I also think it's great you helped the new shelter out!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy
I just came from a happy post and here is my second one of the day. Yay for indoor facilites and housemates and food and for a dog who looks adorable on pink.... good job helping the new shelter.
ReplyDeleteI doubt there are too many failed photos. All of you pets extremely handsome and the girl kitties are beautiful. Glad someone rescued all those cats and will try to get them healthy.
ReplyDeleteThey look a little annoyed at being disturbed while eating

ReplyDeleteIt had been lots of subzero here too - so staying in nice warm beds and having some tasty foodables makes life bearable!!! I guess, if there has been lots of training about NOT sitting on furniture, Cin must be wondering what the heck is going on!!! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
We're thankful for a lot of the same things, and we worry so much about the cats on the streets.
ReplyDeleteI am sure they didn't like having their photo taken when they are enjoying their food. Most kitties or doggies will love to sit on the chair. Lol!
ReplyDeleteSo many wonderful things to be thankful for!
ReplyDeleteLots to be thankful for!

ReplyDeleteThat goes for The PO'M too, but he's just not ready to come inside, but he's got a warm shelter, and right now there is plenty of sunshine to nap in.
You are gorgeous kitties! And I am so happy yoo have found a wonderpurr Forever Home. So very sad about the hoarding. Hoomons can mean well, but honestly the hoarding can turn on them and then evfurryone pays the price. Happy Valentine's Day! Love, Dori
ReplyDeleteWe think your photos are always so nice. We don't mind posing because there is usually a treat involved, but we don't always cooperate:)
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
