Darn! I just checked my post and all the babble that was here is gone! I must have swiped when I should have saved! I guess I will have to remember and write it later!
Furrst, Today is International Animal Rights Day!
It is an annual event honouring animals as sentient beings who deserve the same protections as people. This global observance is marked by demonstrations that expose animal exploitation, mourn the animal victims of human tyranny and rally support for universal animal welfare.
Furrst off, an apology...we did NOY get our Christmas Card Posted Yesterday. December 9, Christmas Card Day...As a matter of fact, we did NOT get a post done.
Why?
Its not because Mom was too lazy, its because she was too busy! Alex has gone off (again) for work so Nutmeg, being a young lively dog, has exercise requirements that demand Mom Walks (3 a day) plus playtime! Then there is her "other" jobs! She did a craft day with the other little old ladies where she helped them make Candy Cane Reindeers!
Then Yesterday, Mom had to drive to the Okanagan to spend an hour and a half in the Dentist's Chair. She took a half dozen reindeer to the office for their tree! The dentist laughed that Mom brought them candy!
Anyway, we are going to work on MY CHRISTMAS CARD PAGE today and post all of your cards and Mine for you TOMORROW!
Here is one that did not make the final cut!
Wow! How life changes in just one day. Yesterday our human bro and our friend Mr P took away our good furrend Fridgie. Fridgie the big white box in the kitchen had gone from keeping things (like our food) cold to blowing hot air. He lived a long and happy life in our kitchen and we were sad to see him go. After he left, Mom washed the floor where he lived and told us that we would have a new one soon.
A couple of hours later, our Bro and Mr P were back with a big black and steel box and his name is Fridgie2!
Mom washed him inside and out and put all the foodables that were hanging out in the garage back inside. What a happy guy he is! He thought he was going to get sent back for recycling and was furry happy to get a new forever home with a whole bunch of furry furriends! When he found out that Mom did a whole lot of cooking he was happy that he would get to use his Turbo Cooling! He is a whole lot quieter than Fridgie was and Mom says he is more energy efficient. He also tells great jokes!
And we thought our Cat Toy Tree deserved a Selfie too! Chris says he likes the new location, and the arangement of the Cat Toys is Purrfect, I agree.
