Ginger Cats are SPECIAL! And unique. We looked around and found some interesting facts about Ginger Cats.
Not all Ginger Cats look the same! Their coloring ranges from a dark auburn red while others are almost a pale strawberry blonde! As a Matter of fact, Big Furry and Sunshine, who live across the street from us Big Furry is a dark red and his sister Sunshine is a pale strawberry blonde!

Ginger Cats appear in many different breeds!
There is no science proving it but Ginger cats have BIG personalities and they are extra friendly. They are often said to be attention seeking and affectionate (Velcro cats). I, Marvelous prefer to think it is tabby that underlies their coats and Mr Kozmo says they are no where near as much fun as tuxedos!

They are all lovely gingers. Eric and Flynn had prominent tabby markings. We have had a few female gingers as well as a lot of male gingers. I always thought female gingers were few and far between until I heard a question on a quiz show the other day. It said there are 3 males to one female, so of course I checked it and found the ratio is 3 to1.

Wow, cool descriptions for all the "gingers" out there ... when my kids were little, we had a ginger, he looked most like your "marmalade' photo, was named GUCCI for all his stripes. BTW, about that skate board on your header: I do trust there is NO skate board within 10 miles of your house ... or you'll be a peg leg by pirate's day, my friend!!!

The gingers are such pretty kitties! We are loving the cooler days and nights and we hope it stays the way it is now through the month of September.
We luv ginger cats! Lynn's furst cat was ginger boy that she innocently named Tonya! Then there was Pooh and then Stripes and last Sunkist! 'course Lynn LUVS all cats and she's not color blind but if she was, they'd all look adorable in black and white, mol.
