3.14 - Pi Day!

As you know, our Peep is a GEEK!

We get to celebrate obscure days, like--Pi Day (which is also Einstein's Birthday!), International Back Up Day (March 31),  Morse Code Day (April 27), May The Fourth Be With You Day (May 4), Geek Pride Day (May 25), to name a few. Sometimes Mom gets us pets involved and other times she and our human bro act like Geeks!

To celebrate today we have PIE!

We are hoping it is Pizza with anchovies! (more likely it will be morsels of cheese and shrimp and not really a pie...Mom likes to ensure we don't eat a lot of people food...)

Do YOU celebrate Pi Day?

*****UPDATE to yesterday's post!*****

We were so very disappointed to read this, this morning. The Orange Guy and his handler EM should be chastised!

K-9 bomb sniffer dog units have become the latest victims of the so-called Department of Government Efficiency, just as the White House celebrated a national day honoring the heroic animals.

Workers at the TSA were informed via email that “new guidance” meant that requests for costs including vet visits, kenneling and dog food, had been put on hold effective immediately, according to Fox News. The directive was revealed on Thursday. TSA is in charge of airport security and its dogs can be used to sniff out bombs and other contraband.

*****UPDATE*****

Let's hope they don't take care of the TSA dogs like they have done in the past.

  2. I don't even know what PI means or is, so must have something to do with either geek or math. I am a wannabe geek, but did not get into it until late in life when brain cells are bad... I am back from defining PI and it is math related and that is why I don't know it. I got out of business math with a D and that was given to me so I could graduate from high school and the teacher told me, he gave me a passing grade because he knew how hard I tried ...

I guess this only works where you use the American system of dating... here we on the 14/3/25 system. That said, any excuse for pie in my book!!! Cherry for me with a dollop of Greek yoghurt on the side. Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

    1. We are on the same system as you up here in the Great White North, but in the computer world, Mom was subject to ISO 8601. The date today is 2025-03-14 so its at the end. Gotta love those geeky people....

  4. Marv, do you really like apple pi? I don't like any pi. Just crunchies which I guess could be sprinkled on pi.
