Tweet, Tweet, Tweet!

Did you know that Tweets are good for you?

No, not the ones that Elon sends...but the natural ones!

I have some serious stuff to say Marv

Scientists have discovered that birds tweeting makes you feel better! Especially if you see and hear the birds out in the trees! Tweets send oxytocin rushing through your body and being surrounded by tweets in trees and the smell of all the growing things sends more!  That means everybody needs more green things growing and birds - and their tweeting in their lives!

Marv and Me watching the tweets!

We are thankful that we live in the middle of nowhere and I am thankful e have TONS of tweets all day every day. I am thankful that all I have to do is go outside and Seeing all those lovely tweets make me feel so happy and when I am HAPPY, I am thankful!

Tweets = Happy = Thankful

We are Thankful for you ALL!!!

We are pawticipating in Thankful  Thursday at Brian's Home! Please click on their badge to be taken to Thankful Central!

  1. That's a fascinating study. I am not surprised. There is something cheerful about birds tweeting - makes your heart lift.

  2. We love listening to all the birdies around here, too. And in March its even better when the cardinals and robins start their look at me songsl Even the loud crows and raucous cranes are a good sound. It will be a sad day if the birds were silent.

I had noted that news earlier this week and am glad you are highlighting the natural kind ... I did find myself wondering at there being a revelation that nature heals, but lots of folk may need reminding it seems. And apparently, if a scientist has spent some dollars reaffirming ancient knowledge it becomes new again. What a wonderful world. Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

  4. I love to hear the birds singing. When I am on the computer I look out on the Leylandii hedge. I am sure the sparrows have an apartment block in there, and they sit on top of the hedge and sing to me. The robin sits on the greenhouse and sings to me too. The blue tits have started checking out the sparrows real estate and they are not happy about it. Maybe they will build their own apartment block next door.

  5. I'm thankful that I live out in the country even though there's lots of houses around. Lynn feeds the birds and we have flocks of them. Sometimes I think they're going to invade the house like some creepy movie they made a hundred years ago. I'm so glad Marv that you did not get run over by that snow plow that was in the picture behind you a couple days ago. I was really worried you were going to be a flat cat. Precious

  6. We did not know that, but it does make sense. We will wait to test it out until the birds are back in the spring and summer.

  10. some tweets make me happy some do not. depends on who is doing the tweets. Jays and Crows for one, are not very tweety. Butt we do like the tweets of the song birds. Once I may have threaten a daddy cardinal with harm because he was stuck on one note over and over, sitting outside the kitchen window.. do owls and dove tweet? do they count? they sooth my soul when i hear them calling. and now I am humming and singing Rockin Robin and it will be all day long, so thanks for that HA HA

  14. So, so agree there's nothing quite like the songs of the birds. Sadly, in the heart of city living now, it is a joy
we do not often enjoy. But JUNE will attach herself to the window to watch them on their fly-by's to places
    unknown ...

  16. The Hubby mispronounced "Elon" as "Eli", and thought his version was better!
From the man who barely uses his old-fashioned flip phone, has no idea how to use the internet or email, and would rather set himself on fire than use a credit card to pay for parking.
    *smh*
