Friday's Fill-Ins and Felines with Kozmo

Friendly Fill-Ins

Kozmo was at the vet yesterday to get his thiroid levels checked. They were PURRFECT! Just like he is!

Kozmo has been doing some surfing and he has been discovering the history of Tuxies, HE is doing the Friendly Fill-Ins!

1. I get my __________ from __________________.

I get my devistating good looks from my genes

Tuxies are a coloration of a cats, not a breed. Tuxies can occur in most any breed and they can be colors other than black and white! Its our genes and we can get it from any of our ancestors. Some of the specific traits are the socks (in the second color, which is usually lighter) and the mask – this is the effect created by the colors on the face. Tuxies are not rare! You have a great chance of getting one at a shelter.

2.  It’s a good thing ___________________________.

It's a good thing I have TUXITUDE!

“Tuxitude” is that special comic attitude we tuxedo cats have. What makes us easy to spot is not only our bi-coloured  coats, but our attitude. Most of us are extremely friendly, playful, outgoing and affectionate (and sometimes we get so excited, we bite). We create close bonds with our Peeps and we often have a friendly attitude to new people.

3. _________ required me to muster a lot of courage.

Having Marv move in required me to muster a lot of courage (and patience)

Marv was a feral cat who had to fight a lot when he was little and he can be awfully agressive. He used to beat me up, but now I stand up to him (most of the time). Sometimes it is better to run and hide!

4. My younger self would be proud to know that I now _________.

My younger self would be proud to know that I now am the kind of cat that I would have admired!

The Friendly Fill-ins are written by 15 and Meowing (the first 2) and the second two are written by Four-Legged Fur Balls! We hope you enjoyed learning about Kozmo as much as we love learning about you dear furrends!  You can click on the buttons to be magically taken to 15 and Meowing and the Four-Legged Furrballs blogs!

This week's Feline Friday is ALL about the Tuxi!

Tuxies were the cats most loved by the Ancient Egyptians. Over 70% of the cats in the heiroglyphics are tuxedo cats. It could be their dashing good looks or their superior intelligence, but quite a few famous people were owned by tuxedo cats. Among them are William Shakespeare, Beethoven and Sir Isaac Newton.

Kozmo it's quite easy to see why you are Katie Isabella's boyfriend. Handsome and friendly and smart. That was some nice information that you shared about your family history. And wear your beautiful coat of fur comes from oh, so don't ever lose it. Just keep an eye on that crazy Marv and you'll come out on top.

I did not know a tux can be another color than black and white. i was under the impression that all cats that look like they are wearing a tuxedo are in fact tux cats. wow, this is great news, and i see by your family tree i was wrong which might be the first time ever I WAS wrong. or maybe just the first time I admitted it.. wild clapping over your fikl ins
