I, Marv am proud to be a Canadian!
Today we wanted to share how us Canadians celebrate great Canadians. Below is the video of how Canada presented the Governor General's Award to Ryan Renolds.

We all know Ryan has been working (regularly) as an actor since 1991. He and his wife (Blake Lively) have spent many of their hard earned dollars helping others. Many Canadian charities have been had Ryan's help and they took part in the video. Reynolds and his wife have donated $500,000 to Covenant House in Vancouver and Toronto to assist homeless youth, $1 million to Food Banks Canada and Feeding America. Reynolds has also donated to organizations like Pacific Wild, SickKids Foundation, the Michael J. Fox Foundation and many, many more.
This last week Reynolds announced that he and his wife were donating to the Canadian Red Cross to assist in recovery efforts from the ongoing floods and mudslides that have devastated B.C.

What a wonderful man and he is obviously loved by many. We need more peeps like Mr Ryan.

Oh what a happy Tuesday You Have Made It Marv. It's wonderful knowing there are such generous people. I realize it's due to his career that has made him able to afford this. He is a very good actor and so is his wife. I'm not sure I can dance like Spider-Man but it makes me happy to see someone that can. Precious and I are waving back at you on this happy Tuesday.
We always like Canada since Minnesota borders it, and Gramma grew up in Upstate New York and vacationed in Canada a lot as a child. It is kind of a quiet country for its large size, but we like it. Happy Tuesday!

Canada can sure be proud of Ryan Reynolds. I just read that Bradley Cooper thought Ryan would be sexiest man alive when he got it instead.
