Boy oh Boy! It's my turn to star on Artsy Caturday! We LOVE to pawticipate with all the other peoples and pets and see their fabulisious creations. Once again we are going to take a so-so picture and try to turn it into something special.
Earlier this week Mom was going through some old memory sticks and she found some old bookmarks. Some of these were for graphic sites that we used back when Queen Penelope had her blog. One of the ones we checked out today is Picture to People. (http://www.picturetopeople.org)
We got lost there for a few hours...first we made our names in fur
Then we tried some of the Photo Effects on this so-so photo
Here I am using one of the pencil crayon effects (#5)
And here I am in the Photo Typographic Effect (#1 changing the Font to Big)
We are going to explore a little further here as Mom is looking for a good stencil maker or something that will help her make an embroidery pattern. If you know of one, let us know!

ReplyDeleteOh you know I have bookmarked that site to have a play with now!!! In return, regarding stencils... is this the sort of thing you need? I like that they state What happens to the uploaded images? The images that are both uploaded and the created stencils are stored in a temporary location. A cleanup operation deletes all files approximately every 30 minutes. I really like that pencil sketch of you Marv!!! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

ReplyDeleteTres cool! I've used that site a long time ago too. Mine never looked that cool. We were looking for an embroidery effect once too for art and a font. Not sure if we found it but will share if I find it.
