The weather has been downright chilly the last couple of days! It has even been raining! This means us cats is spending time inside - where it is nice and warm! Mom just got home from the grocery store and I am enjoying her chair, looking at the rain outside!

- My hairy slobbery sister Cinnamon is too energetic, when we are on the computer, she wants to play ball.
- I am willing to give up biting for treats.
- One random fact about me is I grumble, all the time. (Marv's grumble is a cross between a growl and purr).
- My SMILE and the size of my murder mittens makes me unique. (Marv has huge paws for his size).

Jo Jo is a very happy cat. She starts each day with joy, so mes asked her why she is always so happy. This is what she told mes.
Be thankful for the things you may take for granted we were adopted into one of the best homes.
The things we get very used to having can become things we take for granted. But they are not things every pet in the world has access to. I am so very lucky to have been adopted into a wonderful home. A few things I like to reflect on and feel very thankful for are:
- A roof over my head and a warm home.
- Plenty of drinkable water.
- That I don’t have to go hungry.
- That I get taken to the vet regularly.
- Being able to enjoy the small and free pleasures of life.

Last night wes watched some of the Emmys as one of Mom's favorite shows was nominated for 9 Emmies! And they broke the Emmys record for most wins in a single season for a comedy! They are a Canadian show and Schitt$ Creek is terrific. They deserve it all. Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hare have been showcasing Canadian Comedy since the 1970s! They worked on a show called SCTV that started in Edmonton. Furrends of Mom's were involved with the show. Wes excited that they went out with a BANG!
Now wes had so much fun with our furrend Moona, wes thought we'd bring her back this week!
OK, they is not the best this week, Wes (well, Mom) been really busy. Alex has been gone for 10 days and he gets back tomorrow, so maybe we will gets some better pictures!
Now yous should heads over to Comedy Plus and see all the Happys at Happy Tuesday! Wes knows wes will!

We have had some cooler weather because of all the smoke.
That has meant Cinnamon has not been able to go for her daily swim.
Mom and Cinnie have been going for 2 or 3 walks a day with a nice long walk with a ball chase after supper and before bed. Cinnamon is an energetic dog and LOVES her exercise.
Today Mom went out and Cinnamon was in the flowers bed!
Mom asked, Why are you lying there in the middle of my flowers?
Cinnie answered " I thought I'd be a Collie Flower?"
Mom said, Oh No! Marv is rubbing off on all of them!!
Cinnamon chased the ball up and down the street, and Mom said, Do you think you can sit still for a moment and I can take your selfie for Selfie Sunday. She did! (Except for her tail)
She even smiled her best smile!

Mom had Friday off. She had some major work on her teeths on Thursday and when she comed home from the dentist, she looked like she had stopped a truck with her face. She did not feels much like working on Friday, so NATURALLY, us pets assumed that meant wes could has her undivided attention!
When Mom mowed the lawn, Cinnamon kept putting her ball in front of the mover and when Mom came in and sat down, wes assumed she would create the most purrfect Pirate Portraits EVER for us for MEOW LIKE A PIRATE DAY!
Yes...Wes wanted portraits!
Wes knew that Mom had been thinking about creating us some new portraits painted in the style of the old masters and she had been looking at how that is done using PowerPoint and this was the purrfect opportunity. And Because Ye can't be part of a crew without a proper pirate name wes all gots new Pirate Names too!
Kozmo or should wes say Count Paisley Williams was the first one.
AND Wes writed a Pirate Story!
Have you heard of Red 'Fierceful' Lynx, the pirate? His friends call him Red for short. He loved to range across the Seven Seas! When people saw Red coming, they would scream, "Run! Run for your lives or he'll put you in his brig! Everyone feared Pirate Red and his crew, Goddess, Count and Gassy. Red did not want to be feared though. He just wanted to make everyone happy!
To keep people from being scared, he took down his pirate flag
And he flew a pair of SOCKS!!

Most of the time, she is up in her corner - waiting for her next meal...
She will most likey be decorating our deck with her gorgeous orb webs and she will gets bigger and bigger throughout the fall. When its time, she will lays her eggs and disappear. Wes are looking forward to sees how big she will gets and her beautiful webs when they are covered with dew in the mornings!
Orb spiders are harmless, as gentle as the heroine of Charlotte’s
Web. Orb spiders are non-aggressive and they play critical role in insect control. Here, the number of spiders is astounding, hundreds of thousands of
them live in each hectare all controlling insect populations. They are
critical for any ecological balance. And wes LOVES looking for them and watching them!
