Hi Guys! After supper, wes was out scouting the bestest locations for a Mouse Safari!
Mom missed Jo Jo's Birthday in June, Marv's in July and when it was pointed out on Marv's FB page that it was missed, she said wes could has a GIANT Pawty for Kozmo's Birthday in September. While wes was out scouting Cinnamon comed running up barking her head off!
After she spitted slobber all over us, she told us to looks up!
There was a bomber flying over us!
And when wes looked EAST, Norwegian Mountain was SMOKING!
A fire is burning up on the side of the mountain!! Wes could hear 3 planes and a helicopter and the local fire trucks as they headed up Norwegian Creek Road to attack the fire!
The bomber dropped fire retardant! If yous looks closely, yous can see the spotter plane behind the bomber! The bomber circled around and dropped retardant 6 more times!
Here yous can see some of our neighbors out watching the show too!

After all the excitement, (and the heat - its 38c/100f) Marv crashed on the back deck
and Jo Jo, in the nice cool bedroom!
Whew! Wes hopes they gets the fire out soon!

Fires make us nervous here because we live in a fire danger zone.

Yikes on the fire though. We have a fire up in the hills here. All smoky and the temperatures here are triple digit. I hate the summer fires.
