March is named for the Roman god of war, Mars. But here, in Midway, I, Marvelous think of it as the beginning of spring! March brings the vernal equinox and the Full Worm Moon, and here on my blog, we tell you all the important dates and all the reasons to celebrate the start of spring!
Now I want to let you know what to look forward to this month! As always, you can download the badges that will be on the Catblogosphere, here sized smaller (300x300).
First up
Would you know what to do if your animal ingested something poisonous?
Can you recognize when your furry friend is feeling good versus when
they don’t seem themselves or look unwell?
One of the things we worry about with a young dog who wants to eat EVERYTHING was the people foods that she should NOT eat! We thought we would share it with you as many of the things dogs should NOT eat are the same for cats!

ReplyDeleteMy first challenge is to remember to change the calendar before the day is finished... or at least the weekend. It is neither lion or lamb here today; rather dull and unremarkable. Oh well... hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
March has arrived here like a lamb gambolling in the sunshine. We may even get this weather for a week!
ReplyDeletethanks for the reminders on the foods that are no... right now Beau gets no people food except small pieces of crust from toast and a salt free saltine. we had to remove people food from his diet. we use his dog food for treats and my rice elbow pasta for pills. thanks for the badges.
ReplyDeletelove your March header and Bites Marvelous . did you make them in procreate Or photoshop
Pasta! What a terrific idea! I have never thought of that. I have to pill Kozmo twice a day and after 3 years there are no issues at all! I use photoshop for the badges. Some of them take me no time at all and others I wrestle with for a couple of days!
Delete... well, the "gawd of war" was sure out in full force yesterday in the white/black house ... wondering about those ides of march
ReplyDeleteNutmeg, you better learn to read! This poster fur what not to eat is very impawtant fur you pups. Now, me a very intelligent cat, I know better than to eat anythin' bad, mol. Yer mommy has been furry busy agin with the art for March. Which is comin' in like a lion so I guess it'll go out like a snowy lamb. Precious
ReplyDeleteYou do a great job with those monthly badges. Thanks for keeping us informed on the upcoming dates. Our parents are very careful to make sure we can't get to anything bad for us.
ReplyDeleteIt feels more like Spring here today. The badges are pawsome!
ReplyDeleteToday is very warm here, but the temperatures are supposed to drop tomorrow. That's how Springtime works around here. MOL! Thank you for the badges, and the great reminders about what not to eat. XO
ReplyDeleteLulu: "My favorite is lettuce bones! So crunchy! I could definitely go for some cheese, though ..."
ReplyDeleteBeautiful badges. XO
ReplyDeleteWe had a beautiful day today, although it's still getting very cool at night. I hope it continues to stay cool and mild as long as possible.
