Furrst, Today is International Animal Rights Day!
It is an annual event honouring animals as sentient beings who deserve the same protections as people. This global observance is marked by demonstrations that expose animal exploitation, mourn the animal victims of human tyranny and rally support for universal animal welfare.
Furrst off, an apology...we did NOY get our Christmas Card Posted Yesterday. December 9, Christmas Card Day...As a matter of fact, we did NOT get a post done.
Why?
Its not because Mom was too lazy, its because she was too busy! Alex has gone off (again) for work so Nutmeg, being a young lively dog, has exercise requirements that demand Mom Walks (3 a day) plus playtime! Then there is her "other" jobs! She did a craft day with the other little old ladies where she helped them make Candy Cane Reindeers!
Then Yesterday, Mom had to drive to the Okanagan to spend an hour and a half in the Dentist's Chair. She took a half dozen reindeer to the office for their tree! The dentist laughed that Mom brought them candy!
Anyway, we are going to work on MY CHRISTMAS CARD PAGE today and post all of your cards and Mine for you TOMORROW!

That is pretty funny that your mom brought the dentist candy☺ Hold on just a minute - I'm supposed to get walks three times a day? I"m young and lively too! I will add that to my Santa's list too! The Christmas card that didn't make the final cut is really cute!

ReplyDeleteI have zero memory cells these days and had no clue what day it was until I saw all the Christmas cards, and due to lack of memory cells have made a card post for Thursday . ha ha on the candy to the dentist, it will bring more patients and they don't have to eat it... the reindeer are darling

ReplyDeleteWe know that busy stuff here, too, though ours is lately about keeping up with the outside duties of shovelling all the snow we keep getting dumped on us. And today it was sleet and freezing rain as well. UGH!
