Wordy Wednesday With Marv

I may have dozed off in a perfectly reasonable teacup after imbibing LOADS of Catnip tea with June after the Tea Pawty ... I woke up to a MARCHING BAND! and Nellie Bellie was Campaign Manager-in-Chief again.

Flashback Alert!

Some dreams are stranger than others.

I dreamed I was on the campaign trail with Queen Nellie Bellie, Campaign Manager Extraordinaire, and her candidates, Smoke and Joe.

I could not believe it! There were donkeys in pork pie hats, floating teacups, a mysterious caterpillar dispensing questionable advice, and Kozmo supervising everything from the clouds.

I went to her blog and I found ALL the Campaign Posts from Smoke and Joe Running for President and Vice President! They travelled all over the USA in a Hot Air Balloon!

Flying the Balloon to Visit Phoebe of 15 and Meowing!

And the Great Debate!

And here is a photo of the campaign Team!

I could not believe this all happened 10 Years Ago!

  1. YOU GOT MY VOTE! And NOT "fake news" ... I may run here, there, everywhere [do not tell] and VOTE here, there and everywhere ... cause you're both butts-up ahead of any other candy-dates out there! Go Joe! Go Smoke!

  2. We don't mind a little more politics these days, it seems needed! If we can ever get back to blogging ourselves, we might do a little more too!

  5. Marv, all we see on TV are nasty nasty mudslinging commercials. I remember the good old days when politicians would at least brag about what they would do if they got elected. Doesn't mean they did any of it but it was better than sticking a knife in someone else's back. Precious says she sleeps through the TV commercials and then turns the sound on mute.

  7. The nastiness sure is out of control and we totally agree with Lynn and Precious.

  15. OMD, 10 years! I remember my hubbie and myself thinking that the Republican candidate was a joke...and then he won. And then, well, you know.

  18. What a fun flashback! MJF was part of the campaign team...Those 10 years flew by...and nowadays all the backstabbing and other vile stuff mars the whole affair. it just makes me shudder. Nice to see Smoke and Joe, with Nellie, too.
