We opened our mailbox and what did we see?
A wonderful invite for Hatters,
One...
Two...
Three!
We opened our dress-up box and gave a great cheer!
For the perfect Wonderland costumes were all waiting here!
Marv is a Card Soldier, quite noble to behold,
Though he's secretly planning blog stories bold.
Nutmeg's the White Rabbit, with watch held up high,
"I have a job and a schedule..." (but she hasn't a clue why!)
Jo-Jo is Alice in a lovely dress of blue,
Looking proper and sensible... as troublemakers do!
Kozmo's the Cheshire Ghost perched high in a tree,
Watching all the nonsense unfold with ghostly glee.
Through the Looking Glass and down the Rabbit Hole,
We'll be drinking Wonderland tea from a bowl!
So gather your whiskers, your tails, and your crew,
We look forward to pawtying with YOU, YOU, and YOU! 🐾

June told me this was to be a civilized tea party!
Five minutes later there were cards flying, mushrooms gossiping, and somebody put me in charge of quality control. Naturally, chaos ensued.

JUNE HERE ... a bit exhausted [not really, not yet, obligated to say this ...] ... if I can hide behind some bushes somewhere, so none will see me taking a short cat-nap, I'd love some cat-nip tea [can you energy-spike it, I truly need it, sigh]. So many guests [love 'em all] but so little time ... to find, to choose my own companion for the evening. But then, then ... Marv, the Card Soldier, looking quite good to me, though my paws often fumble and drop the cards, and I'm not good at reading all the numbers on them ... do they have the pictures? Now Nutmeg, the White Rabbit, I've always had a thing for rabbits, does he like to play "chase

ReplyDeleteBFF Jo Jo, I can't wait fur us to git together at June's pawty. It's gonna be amazing. The heck with our vile doctor's orders to eat only good fur us food. We are gonna eat all the yummy icing off the cake before Marv gits ahold of it! But do be careful of yer paws and legs, we are not gonna do the jitter bug.
