It is Art time! 

We are featuring the beautiful Jo Jo this week.  We tried to take some shots of her today, between cleaning and raccoon abatement and making Blueberry Haskap Lime Jam, but alas they were horrible!   We have some pictures from the day we were trying to take some valentine photos. Jo Jo kept closing her eyes just as the picture was being taken.

We picked this one. As we see such great art from you guys, we thought this week we would try LunaPic.

We think it came out pretty good, we just wish Jo Jo had her eyes open!

Feline Friday With Kozmo

 Here is a shot of Kozmo telling us all about what went on with him and Lucifer. Apparently they were discussing how they could get together to chase the raccoon that has taken up residence in the culvert across the street. The raccoon has been quite a problem the last few days. Even the dogs are upset with him/her.

First, what was Cinnamon doing yesterday? Cinnamon likes to watch out the bay window in the living room. She was letting me know that Kozmo was out front.

Kozmo and Lucifer (the black cat who lives across the street) were yodelling at each other.  1. She looked out the window. 2. She looked at me 3. She looked at the back door. 4. I moved to the other side of the living room and got a shot of her yelling at the cats! They split up, Lucifer running for his front door. 5. Cinnamon jumped down and did a big stretch yawn, her version of, I AM AWESOME!!!

 February 28 – Mercury Reaches its Morning Peak - Mercury is hard to see even at the best of times – because it is hidden in the glare of the sun. Your first good chance to see Mercury this year is the morning of February 28th. Before sunrise, you may be able to spot Mercury, just after sunrise, when the sun is still below the horizon but Mercury is above it. Specifically, Mercury will reach its peak altitude of 17° above the horizon before sunrise. To see Mercury, you will need a clear view of the western horizon, and be sure to use eye protection.
